Badger Color Concentrates is seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Quality and Laboratory team. Whether you have previous manufacturing, quality, or laboratory experience, or you're looking for a new career path, we encourage you to apply.

We are a leading manufacturer of color masterbatch and specialty concentrates, and we're looking for team members who enjoy problem-solving, working with their hands, and paying close attention to detail. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Available Shifts

1st Shift

· Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

2nd Shift

· Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

· $1.00/hour shift premium

3rd Shift

· Sunday-Thursday, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

· $2.50/hour shift premium

Training will be conducted on 1st shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM).

What You'll Do

As a Quality Control / Laboratory Technician, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products meet both customer and company quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

· Reading batch tickets and product specifications.

· Weighing and preparing color formulations.

· Producing color samples using laboratory and molding equipment.

· Evaluating product color and quality using visual inspection and analytical instruments.

· Making color adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.

· Performing quality tests such as melt flow, FTIR, moisture analysis, ash testing, and other laboratory evaluations.

· Recording and maintaining accurate quality and production documentation.

· Communicating quality concerns and test results to production and management teams.

· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.

· Assisting with general laboratory and quality department activities.

What We're Looking For

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, laboratory work, plastics, or color matching is preferred but not required.

· Ability to distinguish color differences accurately.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Basic computer proficiency.

· Ability to follow procedures and work independently.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
